There is junk science from Denmark about 'the number of heart attacks dropped due to the smoking ban'. I have no english language link yet. I provide you with this danish language link:

The reason for the drop is very simple. Not even the anti smoking zealots have thought about it. From April 16, 2008 and some time thereafter, there was a national strike among nurses and other hospital health care personnel. 65 % of all nurses and other hospital health care personnel were part of the strike.

So obviously the number of admissions for heart attacks dropped. Any treatment that could be postponed or handled outside of Denmark was not performed. That easily explains the drop of 8 %, that 'public health experts' claim was due to the smoking ban!

When I have something in english, I will let you know. But now you know the true reason for the drop. And the public will clearly recognise the 'science' as a fraud!

Some still go on using the same copy pastes, some go on demanding their bans, and denounciations, and lawsuits, and criminalization *without any reasons*.

Now I know! thanks Fanny, regarding America i suspect it is easier over there because unlike europe they have never been invaded successfully. Every country in Europe has been invaded at least once starting with the Roman Empire and ending with world war two, I believe Europeans are more hardened to oppression as many of the invasions were extremely oppressive toward the natives of the countries involved so it is harder to 'brainwash' Europeans (no offense to America meant).

I believe that once TICAP concludes it's first international conference smokers will begin to feel this truly transcends national borders and is a truly international issue and should be fought as such, so much so that I believe the bonds formed will be tighter than any the EU try to forge; and with the Americas onboard we may begin to see support from Africa, Asia and Australasia all of whom share our problems.
